Responsible Gambling
Play for fun
Our games are meant to entertain you, and they work best when you stay in control. Gambling is never a way to top up your income. Decide in advance how much you are prepared to lose, and only play because you have chosen to.
Limits and breaks
Tell us if you would like a cap on your gaming budget and we will set it up. Our player protection area offers deposit limits and time limits, and its exclusion options let you take a break from gambling. We may also exclude a player whom we believe has a gambling problem.
Closing your account
Whatever your reason, you can ask us to shut your account. Should something technical, such as a pending withdrawal, needs the account to stay open, we explain this and close it once the transaction is finished. An account closed this way can be reopened whenever you ask.
Self-exclusion
If gambling starts to cause you social or money problems, e-mail our Player Support Team, who will provide the self-exclusion form. Once you have filled it in and sent it back, your account is closed for good, marketing and offers stop, and the account cannot be reopened for any reason.
Staying in control
- Treat gambling as entertainment rather than a way to make money.
- Do not try to win back what you have lost.
- Stake only money you can afford to lose.
- Keep an eye on how much time and money you spend.
Signs to watch for
Ask yourself honestly whether you miss work or study to gamble, play to escape a dull or unhappy life, gamble until nothing is left, hide your gambling from others, borrow or steal to fund it, or feel low after losing and rush to play again. The more of these questions you answer with yes, the more likely it is that gambling has become a problem, and talking to a support organisation such as Gamblers Anonymous can help.
Protecting minors
Nobody under the legal age may hold an account or play with us, and our sign-up software blocks under-18s. If children can use your computer, keep your usernames and passwords private and do not leave them alone while you are signed in. Filtering software can block gambling sites on a shared device. If you know of an underage player with an account, tell us straight away.
